Inspiring Social Entrepreneurship

Social Entrepreneurship is hope to me.  It represents a movement of people and places to create things of value not out of selfish motivation and ego but out of a sense of the greater good.  This concept of applying business techniques to leverage resources of time, money and human potential to address environmental and social issues is much needed.  The movement can only truly take off it is understood and contextualized.

This blog is being set up at the the end of my doctoral dissertation journey.  It was meant to be set up 4 years ago, when I just began.  However, then I was unsure what I could contribute and now I know its the simple intention of having a forum to share what I see, who I see and where I see it in the Social Entrepreneurship realm of my current context, South Eastern Europe.  While I am based in Zagreb, Croatian examples will be my specialty but I also will depend on my growing kinship with like minded citizens, researchers, academics and practitioners to share what they see as well. Thus the timing is right for the I SEE You SEE blog to begin.
